Bug Out: Apocalyptic survival project, Fall 2012, california college of the arts

Students worked in teams to create a futuristic scenario that required survival tactics to come into play in the advent of a planet-changing crisis. Using minimal materials and rigorous design strategies, students created functional objects that served specific purpose based on their take of environmental or socio-political issues. Themes included ecology/clean air and water, the state of the fashion manufacturing industry and a return to analog communication and music.
